If you are new to this site and don’t know where to start, this page is created to serve as a guide. The idea is to talk about natural treatments for anxiety and depression for those of us that are reluctant to use standard anti-depressant medications that are prescribed by a medical provider. You’ve come to the right place if you don’t feel comfortable using anxiety and anti-depressant medications with side effects such as insomnia, increased anxiety symptoms, sexual dysfunction or loss of libido.

You may see some links repeating under depression, anxiety or insomnia, and that is because some foods or treatments are beneficial for various disorders and may have multiple health benefits.

Mindfulness meditation is extremely beneficial in treating anxiety, depression and insomnia. We provide YouTube links with guided meditation; please feel free to research further on your own. Relaxing Music for Stress Relief provides instrumental music that may help you tune out noise around you, relax and unwind.
